Cancellation policy
Returns & Cancellations Policy
EPED Ltd · Last updated: 14 October 2026
At EPED, we want you to purchase your Swift with confidence. If you change your mind, we aim to make the returns process straightforward and transparent.
This policy applies to consumer purchases made directly from EPED Ltd and does not affect your statutory rights.
Changing your mind
If you purchase an EPED Swift online or by telephone, you have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason within 14 days after the day you receive your bike.
You may also cancel at any time before delivery.
To cancel, simply email sales@eped.uk or contact us in writing, clearly stating that you wish to cancel your order. Please include your name and order number where possible. You may use the model cancellation form at the end of this policy, but you do not have to.
Once you have notified us of your cancellation, you must return the bike within 14 days.
Bikes bought in person or through a partner
Buying in person from EPED
If you buy your Swift face to face at EPED's business premises, the statutory 14-day right to cancel does not apply, so you cannot cancel simply because you have changed your mind, unless we agree otherwise in writing at the time of purchase.
If you agree to buy in person away from our business premises, for example during a demonstration at your home or workplace, you have the same 14-day right to cancel described above.
Buying from an EPED partner
If you buy your Swift from an authorised EPED partner or dealer, your contract is with that partner and their own returns and cancellation policy applies. Your statutory rights for faulty or incorrectly described goods are against the business that sold you the bike. EPED will work with our partners to help resolve any problem.
Your statutory rights for faulty or incorrectly described bikes, set out below, apply however you buy your Swift.
Returning your bike
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying for the return of your bike.
You may use a transport provider of your choice. We recommend using a professional carrier experienced in transporting electric bicycles and arranging suitable insurance against damage or loss in transit.
Please ensure your Swift is securely prepared for transport, including complying with the carrier's requirements for transporting lithium-ion batteries.
Returns address:
EPED

Tower Lane

United Kingdom
Because the Swift cannot normally be returned by standard post, specialist transport may be required.
Estimated return transport cost: approximately £150. Actual charges may vary depending on your chosen provider and collection location.
EPED does not arrange or pay for transport for ordinary change-of-mind returns. This does not affect your rights where EPED is legally responsible for return costs.
Condition of returned bikes
You are entitled to inspect and handle your Swift as you reasonably would in a retail showroom to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
We ask that you take reasonable care of the bike while it is in your possession and when preparing it for return.
If the bike has been handled beyond what is necessary for reasonable inspection, and this results in a reduction in its value, we may make an appropriate deduction from your refund. This may include excessive wear, scratches, damage, missing accessories or other deterioration attributable to handling beyond reasonable inspection.
Any deduction will reflect the actual reduction in value and will be explained and supported by evidence where appropriate.
EPED does not charge a restocking fee.
You do not need to retain the original packaging to exercise your statutory cancellation rights, although we recommend keeping it to help protect the bike during transport.
Refunds
If you exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund the amount paid for your bike, including the original standard delivery charge where applicable.
If you selected a delivery option more expensive than our standard delivery service, we are only required to refund the equivalent standard delivery charge.
Refunds will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the returned bike or receive evidence that it has been sent back, whichever occurs first.
We may make a lawful deduction for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for reasonable inspection.
Refunds will be issued using your original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise.
No administration or refund-processing fees apply.
If you cancel before dispatch, we will refund payments received within 14 days of your cancellation.
Faulty or incorrectly described bikes
All EPED Swift bikes are covered by your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If your bike is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Within 30 days of delivery
Where the statutory conditions are met, you may exercise your short-term right to reject the bike and receive a full refund.
After 30 days
You will generally be entitled to a repair or replacement where the bike does not conform to the contract.
If a repair or replacement is unsuccessful, impossible or cannot be provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.
Where a bike is lawfully rejected because it does not conform to the contract, EPED will meet its obligations regarding reasonable return or collection costs.
To report a problem, please contact sales@eped.uk or call 0333 360 9994.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights.
Pre-orders, reservations and deposits
EPED may offer customers the opportunity to reserve a Swift by paying a deposit, which is deducted from the final purchase price.
For standard bikes purchased online or by telephone, paying a deposit does not remove your statutory cancellation rights.
You may cancel an eligible order before delivery and receive a refund of your deposit and any other payments made.
Following delivery, your normal statutory 14-day cancellation period applies.
Different cancellation rules may apply to genuinely personalised or made-to-specification products. Where an exception applies, this will be clearly explained before you place your order.
Selecting a standard colour or available product configuration does not automatically make a bike bespoke.
